Dr. Ryan Bader
Dr. Ryan Bader was born in Springfield, MO, and graduated High School from Marshfield, MO. In 1998 he graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Animal Science and went on to be a herdsman for a cow/calf operation in North Carolina. While he was in North Carolina he decided that he wanted to pursue veterinary medicine and he and his wife, Sarah, returned to Missouri with that mission in mind. Upon returning to Missouri, Dr. Bader worked for The University of Missouri’s Dairy Farm and was also a research assistant for the large animal Vet School Department, specializing in mastitis. During vet school, he focused on training and education to be a mixed animal practitioner. In 2008 Dr. Bader graduated from The University of Missouri’s School of Veterinary Medicine. He worked in Jefferson City, MO at a mixed animal practice for five years. In August of 2013, Dr. Bader founded Seven Hills Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Bader and his wife, Sarah, have a son and daughter and two dogs. Dr. Bader is involved in Boy Scouts and enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, fishing, camping and playing golf. He is a member of the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association and Missouri Veterinary Medicine Association.
Dr. Ana Smith
Dr. Ana Smith graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Arkansas Tech University in 2007. She then went on to pursue her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University and graduated in 2013. After working in a small animal clinic for four years, she and her husband made the decision to relocate to Nixa, Missouri with their daughter to be closer to family. Dr. Smith has a special interest in exotics animals including reptiles, pocket pets, and miniature pigs. Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with family, their family dog, and cat, outdoor activities, and playing tennis.
Dr. Ellie Selanders
Dr. Selanders is from Kansas City and acquired a Bachelor of Animal Science and Agriculture at Kansas State University and is a proud member of The Kappa Delta Sorority. She discovered her passion for animals while working at the Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead in Overland Park, Kansas, and pursued her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Kansas State University. Her special interests are in food animal and small ruminants, as well as surgery. In addition to veterinary medicine, Dr. Selanders also enjoys baking, hiking, camping, and spending time with her cat, Rory.
